About Sandra

Sandra Akim, founder of Babeyhair

Sandra Akim is a Friseurmeisterin (German Master Hairdresser), founder of Babeyhair and creator of the Babeyhair Afrocurls System. She is Rëzo Academy Certified and listed in the official Rëzo Stylist Finder, with additional education at Michelle Garande and other international curl educators. Her focus is on translating international curl education into a clear, salon-ready system. Babeyhair is active in DACH and the UK.

FAQ

Who should apply?

Babeyhair Pro is for trained hairdressers and stylists with professional experience. Prior curl experience is not required. Experience levels are asked for in the application form and the training is tailored accordingly.

What language is the training delivered in?

German or English, depending on your team.

What does the salon need to provide?

A space with at least one wash station and styling stations, models for day 2 (with our briefing template), and catering for participants. Travel and accommodation are covered by the salon.

What about the models?

You receive a briefing template to find suitable models. Models from your existing client base usually work best. For full beginner groups, day 2 stays on the mannequin and no models are needed.

How many people can join?

1 to a maximum of 6 stylists per training. 1:1 private intensive on request.

How far in advance do we need to book?

At least 8 weeks lead time, ideally more. We currently travel within DACH and the UK, other countries on request.

How does the application work?
